Is my event information stored on a server?
No. Your event name and selected date are encoded directly into the web address (URL parameter). HowUntil never uploads or stores your personal event dates in any database.
Does the countdown update in real time?
Yes. Whenever someone loads or refreshes the page, the calculation checks their current local date and recalculates the exact days, weeks, and hours remaining.
What happens when the countdown date passes?
Once the target date arrives, it displays "TODAY!". If the date has already passed, it automatically shifts to "Days Ago" mode, showing exactly how long has elapsed since that milestone.
